Public relations specialist and schools are often suggesting I write about their new computers, their new tablets, their new toys. I feel I should write about technology in the classroom. But I haven't figured out how to do it, so I haven't.
And after reading this post by Larry Cuban, via Valerie Strauss of the Washington Post, I understood my reservations. Technology is not the magic wand that will make the deep educational challenges we face in Monterey County go away.
